I'm Michelle, a German French clothing designer and seamstress in the Keene area since July 2022. 

I speak 6 languages and have a Masters in Linguistics where I specialized in bilingual language acquisition. 

However, for over a decade making clothes is my passion - a passion I discovered during a time of severe sickness while pursuing my academic career. Sewing grounded me in the present and helped me through this difficult time. 

I love every aspect of creating comfortable and high quality handmade clothing and it makes me truly happy. 

There is also a lot of joy to be found in any hem or repair project. Turning a broken or not fitting garment into something a customer can use again spreads so much joy.

Soft and non-irritating fabrics as well as patterns that let one move freely are all values reflected in any Eller Handmade garment.
